CrossFitters are excellent opponents, while they challenge each other, you’d see them cheer the opposite team just for the sake of the sport. Sport and Fitness Photography could be a demanding job; the photographer has to move fast and be everywhere catching every movement.
CrossFit GSP Rebook FitHub, Rochelle Park, NJ was the perfect venue for the event. It offers 8000 sq feet of space, it is conveniently located across the Garden State Plaza Mall in Paramus, NJ and it is also Reebok recognized. Paleo Cuisine catered delicious and healthy food for everyone.
There is no doubt that the first season of ATL was a success under the leadership of Tim Simansky, Volunteer staff and the participating Crossfit Boxes.
If you want to know more about the event, please read the following, written by Tim Simansky:
This past weekend the Affiliate Throwdown League had their play-off championship. All teams from the league gathered at Crossfit GSP in Rochelle Park to battle it out.
If you’re new to the Affiliate Throwdown League here is how things are run. Crossfit affiliates, known as boxes from 6 person teams consisting of 3 male and 3 female athletes. Teams compete head two head in the following manner. A single athlete from one box competes (throws down) against an individual athlete from the opposing team. The winner of that match earns a point for their team. After 6 individual matches the team with the most points wins the throwdown.
The season culminates in bracket style team tournament. This season the following teams were involved. CrossFit Steam, Maxability, CF Parsippany, CF973, CrossFit ECF, and Englewood CrossFit. All teams were great and battled to the end but this season’s champion was CrossFit Steam.
The next season is planned to kickoff after regionals in June. Please visit www.facebook.com/crossfitleague for more information.
